アフリカ最大のポップカルチャーの祭典 「Comic Con Africa」 に登壇することが決まりました。
登壇は 2025年8月28日（木）13:00 および 31日（日）13:00（いずれもヨハネスブルク時間）で、オンラインにて行われます。イベント内では、Japanese Language Club of South Africa の招待により、英語でのトークを実施。約10分間のプレゼンテーションの後、質疑応答が予定されています。
今回の登壇は、ジンバブエのマンガ雑誌 『Kalabash』 に日本人マンガ家として初めて作品が掲載されたことをきっかけに実現しました。
Comic Con Africaは南アフリカ・ヨハネスブルクで開催される、マンガ、アニメ、ゲーム、映画、コスプレなど多様なカルチャーが集結する一大イベント。世界中のクリエイターやファンが交流する場として知られています。
I’m excited to announce that I will be speaking at Comic Con Africa, the largest pop culture event on the Africa continent.
I’ll be giving online talks on Thursday, August 28 at 1:00 PM and Sunday, August 31 at 1:00 PM (Johannesburg time), invited by the Japanese Language Club of South Africa. Each session will include a 10-minute presentation in English, followed by a Q&A.
It’s an honor to be invited to such a major event. This opportunity came after my work was published in Kalabash, a Zimbabwean manga magazine—making me the first Japanese manga artist to be featured there.
